Flexibility on standard concrete garage features

Various challenges face the manufacturers of concrete garages in the UK. One which I still don't know what the best answer to the question is: whether to include optional extra features such as guttering, internal sand and cement fillets, four point locking and timber weather bars as standard or to include them into the overall price of the garage? I guess there are fors and against this argument. From experience I feel that by leaving the features out the "standard" price you can give the customer greater flexibility. Our customers seem very happy with what we provide currently. The types of customers and the uses of concrete sectional buildings vary considerably, for instance if you have a customer who is unable to do any work, then they will often want the maintenance free options and extras like guttering and sand and cement fillet included. For more active customers who may be DIY enthusiast's who are happy to carry out the work themselves they will want to keep costs down and fit guttering themselves or carry out the internal fillet themselves. Another suggestion would be that by having everything included it can keep the purchasing process a lot simplier, how many people know what a sand and cement fillet is? or a timber weather bar? so sometimes the more uneducated customer may get confused, so by including these extras it can take the confusion out of the purchasing process for the consumer. Generally especially in price sensitive times, I think giving the customers flexibility is important, that is why we currently choose to leave out certain features from the standard package, and let the customer make their own informed decisions.
